Organisasi profesi yang menghimpun para guru, pendidik, dan tenaga kependidikan di kabupaten Gresik. Didirikan pada tanggal 25 November 1945.
Sebagai organisasi profesi, PGRI memiliki misi utama untuk memperjuangkan hak, martabat, serta kesejahteraan para guru dan tenaga pendidik. PGRI juga berperan aktif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi dan profesionalisme guru, mendorong pembaruan dalam sistem pendidikan, serta menjadi mitra kritis dan strategis pemerintah dalam merumuskan kebijakan pendidikan.
